Original owner claimed his guitar was original black (didnt find traces of sunburst, so I believe him) guitar was refin in the '70, but didnt loose any wood, contours are still intact
Original parts, the overspray of the neck is mostly gone by the years, this is the biggest 58 neck I ever saw, so NOT the typical thinner style like most of them.
The sound is sharper, more highs and bite, so I think this is a ash body.
